New Year, New Medicare Benefits - Time to Review for 2024!

We’re only a few weeks away from January and now is the time to start checking with ALL of your clients about any changes to insurance for 2024. Medicare open enrollment is through 12/7/23 so clients could switch to a Medicare Advantage plan through this week. I have a spreadsheet in the files section of the Facebook group to help keep you organized. You want to ensure you have your client's up-to-date insurance information for 2024 so you don’t encounter any billing surprises. 

It’s also a good time to start reminding clients about deductibles resetting in January. The Medicare Part B deductible for 2024 is $240, and depending on your clients' supplemental plan, it may or may not be reimbursed. I'd also recommend confirming again in January by checking eligibility online and/or asking clients because there are always a few who forget to mention it.
